Projection and Light
These are some examples of my work with projection. The projected pattern is a repeat I created from a section of a photograph. The surface pattern was then projected onto a figure dressed in white. I was looking at the effects of coloured light on the human form, how it created the illusion of distortion, and the silhouettes created in the process.




I loved the way the face and body were, in places, totally distorted by the projected image, how colour, shadow and pattern can warp the figure.
